Benegas Lynch Don Tiburcio

A classic Bordeaux blend but heavy on the Malbec (50% Malbec, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot and Petit Verdot). Very bright fruit, clean red cherry and a touch of blackberry. Much more intense than traditional Bordeaux blends because of the extra sunshine, this wine spends 8-10 months in French oak to smooth out the tannins and add some spicy vanilla and toasty notes. A serious wine that will happliy age for 10+ years.

Food Pairings – the extra Malbec in this wine means that it can pair with tomato based meat dishes like stew, slow cooked meats or pasta.
