Château Lestrille, Entre-Deux-Mers
A very tasty sauvignon blanc dominant blend with some classic lemony zest! Made by the passionate and dedicated Estelle Roumage who believes in respecting the soil to get the best wine. So, chemical additives are kept to an absolute minimum and only sustainable vine growing practices are used. It is all vinified in stainless steel to preserve the fresh zingy fruit, we’ve got a lot of lemon, lime and pear here and a crisp finish! Its worth noting here that the label has been changed and updated to look very modern but they haven’t released any photos yet, argh! So, don’t be surprised when a new label turns up.
Food Pairing – grilled white fish is a winner here but in truth anything with garlic, avocado, lemon or lime will pair perfectly with a white Bordeaux!
