Domaine Bernard Defaix Bourgogne Chardonnay

Chardonnay grapes are taken from all over Burgundy and brought to Chablis to be vinified by the same winemaker who makes their Grand Cru Chablis. This wine hasn’t seen much oak and definitely no new oak, so the fruit is much more prominent. A super clean, crisp chardonnay with fresh lemon, grapefruit, a touch of apricot. There is extra body from the old oak used and time on the lees which gives a rich and full mouthfeel. One of the best Bourgogne Blancs we have tasted and the best at this price point!
