Secret Coast Sauvignon Blanc
A deliciously classic New Zealand sauvignon blanc! We’ve got some crisp lemon, lime, grapefruit and gooseberry combined with some very ripe tropical mango and guava with some mouth-watering minerality. Minerality? How can a wine taste like minerals? Well, it doesn’t really but it’s a word that wine folk love to use to describe a wine that has seen no oak and is very fresh and zingy! It is fermented in stainless steel to retain the fruity characteristics as soon as it’s picked so the grapes stay nice and fresh!
Food Pairing – goats cheese salad is a good one here but watch out for that balsamic vinegar it can make the wine taste a little funky! Great with grilled fish, especially swordfish or Asian dishes with lemony flavours!
