Triennes, Rose

£11.99

Have you ever heard of Aubert de Villaine? Not many have but he makes the most expensive wine in the world at Domaine De La Romanee Conti, it costs thousands or sometimes even hundreds of thousands of pounds. He also makes this wine! He went looking for vineyards in Provence almost 30 years ago and found Domaine de Triennes and we’re so glad he did. This rosé has everything that makes Provence rosé so popular the world over. Notes of strawberry, white flowers, peach and ripe apricot on the nose and a clean, crisp refreshing mouthfeel.

Amy Wislocki of Decanter writes “Domaine de Triennes is a partnership between two great names in Burgundy: Jacques Seyss of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée Conti. So the quality is unsurprising. Cinsault-dominated, this offers the perfect balance between fresh red berry fruit and citrus, crisp acidity and elegance. Vibrant and refreshing. 90 POINTS.”

Food Pairing – we love it with sunshine and friends but if you’re going to have something to eat then go for salad with a balsamic vinaigrette or local Provençal dishes.
